GSA CONTRACT AREAS
GSA Schedule Contracts represent a fantastic growth opportunity for many companies seeking to enter the world of government contracting. GSA Schedule Contracts (or Multiple Awards Contracts) are designed so that companies can offer commercially available products and services to the government at a price equal to or better that they offer their most favored commercial customers. These contracts are 5 years in length, with three (3) five-year options to extend. These contracts are open to all government agencies, and meet all full and open competition requirements set forth in the Federal Acquisition Regulation. As such, these contracts streamline the procurement process by allowing government buyers to purchase directly from those under contract, without having to go out for bid. To those that qualify and who seek growth, we highly recommend attainment of these contracts. Minimum qualification criteria to obtain a GSA Contract are as follows:
- You should have been in business for at least 2 years
- Your products/services should be in current demand by the government
- You should be able to sell at least $25,000 per year under contract
- Your company should be financially capable to handle contract business
