ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES CONTRACT

General Overview:

This contract is to provide for various services for environmental planning, compliance, training, waste management, hazardous material management, remote advisory, geographic information, remediation and new services to enable government agencies to meet their environmental needs. This contract is 5 years in length and carries three (3) additional five year options. This is one of the fastest growing contracts with estimates of yearly sales nearing or exceeding $200 million per year.

899-1 Environmental Planning Services & Documentation --

Contractors submitting under this category shall provide operational services, advise, or guidance in support of agencies' environmental planning. Examples include, but are not limited to:

• Environmental Impact Statements Under NEPA
• Endangered Species and/or Wetlands Analysis
• Archeological and/or Cultural Resources Management
• Economic, Technical, and/or Risk Analysis
• Environmental Program Management
• Environmental Regulation Development

899-2 Environmental Compliance Services --

Contractors submitting under this category shall provide operational services, advise, or guidance in support of agencies' environmental planning. Examples include, but are not limited to:

• Develop Plans to Meet Environmental Regulations
• Environmental Compliance Audits
• Compliance Management Planning
• Pollution Prevention Surveys & Plans
• Compliance Effects of Process Modifications
• Review of New Technologies Impact on Compliance

899-3 Environmental Occupational Training Services --

Contractors submitting under this category shall provide operational services, advise, or guidance in support of agencies' environmental planning. Examples of courses include, but are not limited to:

• Standard Off-The-Shelf Courses
• Customized Course Development
• Computer Based Course Development
• Conversion of Exiting Courses to Electronic Media

899-4 Waste Management Services --

Contractors submitting under this category shall provide operational services, advise, or guidance in support of agencies' environmental planning. Examples include, but are not limited to:

• Hazard & Exposure Assessments
• Management & Operation of Recycling Programs
• Waste Characterization Studies
• Review of Technologies and Processes Impacting Waste Management
• Review and Recommendation of Waste Tracking or Handling Systems
• Development of Waste Management Plans

899-5 Hazardous Materials Management Software --

Contractors submitting under this category shall provide operational services, advise, or guidance in support of agencies' Hazardous Materials Management programs. Examples include, but are not limited to

• Mngmt, Furnishing, or Inventorying MSDS Sheets via CD, Internet, Facsimile or other media
• Reporting & Compliance Software
• Development of Emergency Response Plans
• Hazardous Materials Tracking Software
• Creation & Maintenance of HAZMAT Tracking Systems

899-6 Remote Advisory Services --

Contractors submitting under this category shall provide operational services, advise, or guidance in support of agencies' environmental programs. Examples include, but are not limited to

• Hazardous Materials Spills
• Material Safety Data Sheets
• Information Hotlines
• Poisons
• Environmental Regulations

899-7 Geographic Information Systems --

Contractors submitting under this category shall provide operational services, advise, or guidance in support of agencies' environmental programs utilizing GIS. Examples include, but are not limited to:

• Mapping & Cartography
• Natural Resource Planning
• Site Selection
• Migration Pattern Analysis
• Pollution Analysis
• Emergency Preparedness Planning

899-8 Remediation Services --

Awardee shall provide the full range of methods and technologies supporting activities necessary for Remediation Services including dismantling, demolition, or removal improvements. Remediation shall conform to environmental permits, decision document requirements, or other legal requirements. Examples include but are not limited to:

• Excavation, removal, manifesting, transport, storage, treatment and disposal of HAZMAT
• Preparation, characterization, field investigation, conservation, or closure of site
• Long Term Monitoring/Long Term Operation LTM/LTO
• Containment, monitoring and/or reduction of hazardous waste sites
• Ordnance removal and support

899-9 Introduction of New Services --

This Special Item Number is designed to allow offerors to propose new services, delivery methodologies, or technologies that are within the scope of the Environmental Services Contract, but are not covered by any of the existing SINS.
