CONTRACT ACTIVITIES
There are many different types of contracts within the government
sector. Increasingly popular within many federal agencies are
Multiple Award Contracts. This contract type is a pre-negotiated
contract that allows for direct acquisition by procurement officials
without going our for competitive offers. Normally, once awarded,
companies are placed on a short list of other awarded
manufacturers/service providers (hence the term "Multiple Award")
that federal agencies must use. As this contract becomes popular
amongst your competitors, more companies receive award, the
requirements for companies to market to the high use agencies
becomes crucial to continued success. The government does provide
venues for certain marketing functions such as allowing the awardee
to list contract award information on various government sites,
availability to high end user lists, and public notification of your
award. However, to heighten your potential for success under this
program, it is expected that your company take an active role in
marketing your services to those high use agencies. Our experience

Other types of contracts represent an order or contract for either
commercially available products/services or products manufactured
to strict government specifications. In both cases, there are
specific requirements for labeling, packaging, bar-coding, and in
some cases a facility inspection prior to award of a contract. We
