As one could imagine, any company awarded a contract is typically required to submit periodic reports to the contracting agency such as orders received, orders outstanding, on-going projects, and total sales within a given period. The government is adamant that these reports be timely and the information accurate. Failure to submit these reports on a timely basis can cost a company its' contract for failure to comply with the terms of the contract, or at the very least, will prompt government inspectors to look more closely at the daily operations of the awarded company.
